Content Owner FAQ

You need a Flickrocket account. It is not required that your shop is live.

Is there any cost for placing my content in the Creators Marketplace?

There is no cost for the Creators Marketplace, however you need to have a Flickrocket account. There may be a monthly cost depending on the account type. See https://www.flickrocket.com/en/pricing for details.

How much do I earn from my content in the Creators Marketplace?

You can define the royalty percentage which third-party shops have to pay for each sale of your content. You should not set the percentage too high to allow the third-party profitable sales. Generally, 20%-30% is an accepted percentage, but the percentage is your choice.

Do I get access to the sales data such as customer information from third-party shops?

No. The customer data belongs to the third-party shop. You will get only summary sales data.

Can a third-party store offer different licenses and prices?

No. The third party store must use your licenses and pricing. This way you can't be undercut and all sales are purely additional revenue.

Can I limit access to my content from a third-party store if they do not keep the rules?

Yes. Blocking content for a certain third party is always possible, however we strongly recommend trying to agree on a solution to the problem instead of using the "atomic" blocking.
