Our Mission Statement

Why should it cost a fortune trying to make a living doing what you love?

Organized by artists for artists, The Creators' Marketplace was envisioned by SAS Events, a unique combination of three art professionals who didn't see any good reason to shell out the big bucks to exhibit at galleries, conventions, and other shows that are cost-prohibitive.

Ali Morbi, a freelance photographer and graphic artist, Shane Kirshenblatt, freelance author and illustrator and Sari Kirshenblatt, an emerging talent in custom jewellery design have put together a one-day show, offering low table rates to encourage both new and seasoned artists and craftspeople to display and sell their original creations. We are also determined to contribute to worthwhile causes, such as the Sick Kids Foundation for 2009 and The Foundation Fighting Blindness for 2010.

SAS Events, together with an expansive line-up of talented vendors, hope to make the Creators' Marketplace an event that will run for years to come!
